.odd.polly. backstage

So fall is upon us and with fall comes the beautiful fall colors.

And finally i can wear the bold darker colors like purple and burgundy and dark blood red (well of course people can wear whatever color they want whenever they want, but i change with seasons).

So iv'e been working on this set:

I'm showing only 3 of the colors but these are my favs ♥.

 Unfortunately they only get this bold with the darker layer (light, medium, dark undertone).

I had to use those layers, i'm using multiple lip layers to get the effect i wanted (a good tip when creating lips is not using just one layer, wanna know more just IM me and ill tell you all about it).
So what i'm saying is the lips will be a lot lighter on the lighter skin tones :C

And thank you ladies for liking the eyelashes, makes me really really happy.

So i'm making some more. 

Just need to come up with something new and not be mainstream. 

Cause don't u just hate stores that makes the same stuff, same hairs same colors and same patterns and don't think outside the box!?!

Okay maybe not everyone is as cray cray as me lol :P

At the moment i'm all about mix-ups say The joker and Cheshire cat (wouldn't that be the most awesome mix ever), Snow white and Dracula and why not Bambi and Ariel (that would be a cute mix) thinking about it i did a deer makeup earlier, not released cause it dint co-op with different skin tones must see if i can find it and Arielfy it *laughs like a crazy scientist*

Dunno what you guys been up to today, but iv'e been crawling around in bed getting brilliant ideas. 

Sooooo i made this new eyeliner. (working on another one as well, i'll show that another day).

That Feeling....

You get when you realize Halloween is soon here!!

So time to play!!!

My obsession of horror movies as a child made me become a makeup artist irl. So you can only imagine how many times iv'e been playing around with blood. 

Halloween is the best time of the year (yes i'm fully aware its september thank you very much, more time to create weird shit).

I'm playing around in photoshop like a little kid adding tons of wierd shit.

Im in heaven!!

So instead of "updates" i'm gonna call this Backstage. Stuff i'm working on, upcoming updates and such amazingness!!

Tonight iv'e been super focused on messing with good old prim part and properties.

Lashes iv'e finally fixed the lashes (woop woop), and i uploaded a new pair as well.
So i have...eeuum...lets say 5 now, and yes they are still prim parts, but i may add a script to  fix the position (if my lazyness lets me do that).

I wont upload them this week cause im at my home away from home but next week they will be up on maybe monday tuesday.

I do however have time to fix the main store so yaay for that.

I just need to find the right stuff for it and upload a looot of textures and meshes *sigh* but i guess that's what im gonna do today! 

Wish me luck, give me strenght, may the force be with me and so on, cause i get so easily distracted, i will be like ooh kittens and then i end up watching youtube vids with kittens for 2.5 hours....yeah that's me...!!

Anyways ill start right away.

So the releases this week (that will be tomorrow, lol) will be an inner eye eyeshadow (Frida) and freckles (2 options), and a TMNTurtles inspired eyeliner (i love my comics), and a set of crazy colored smudge eyebrows (which i have forgotten what i named).

So i'm wearing one of the freckles layers, the inner eye eyeshadow, and a dotted eyeliner (that will probably be a freebie at the im-world store opening).

They eyelashes are mine as well, i'm gonna release them as soon as i'm done messing with the owner rights (cause atm they don't belong to Xela but to Wilder my other alt, so its messy, just saying)

The tattoo you see is yet another new tattoo from Isuka and can be found [HERE] (still silly low promo prices).

My first mesh make-up!!!

Look! Look! My hands created a perfectly usable mesh eyeliner!

I am a bit proud, its not pretty, but i made it, its my mesh baby.

Okay iv'e made tons of mesh clothes these last weeks (but shhhh thats a secret project... atleast for now). 

This however is make-up and made in blender, and i don't normally use blender (its confusing). 

Soo woooo!

Why No Make-up Appliers?

Why don't i sell make-up appliers?!?

This may be something you been thinking about!

There are so many mesh lips, head, body's, boobs n asses and what not out there. 

I may be the only one not using any of that. 

Well i have all the slink mesh feet (cause i love shoes) but that's it really.

A friend even told me to get mesh hands like 3 days ago cause my avatar hands were scary.

Maybe i want scary avatar hands!! 

Dinosaurs had scary hands to, they didn't go out and get new ones...

okay baad example (i just wanted to add a little dinosaurs talk in the text).

The mouth appliers aren't appealing to me, iv'e tried demos but i ended up having way more fun with the mouth alphas than with the actual mouths.

Mesh heads is a biiiiig nope, why on earth would i wanna look like the rest of you out there? I'm me! I'm one of a kind!!

Mesh body's is a maybe, iv'e tried a few and i do like them. But i switch skins a few time a week, so getting appliers for all of those would cost me a fortune. So hmmmh!

Since my avatar barely have breasts and ass as it is i don't think i need any mesh help , lol.

Maybe i'm just old and stubborn, who knows. but for now the mesh make-up appliers will have to wait, and i'm sorry for that.

I'm still gonna make make-up for just the good old avatar.

Uppdate on the new eyeshadow!

Well as i thought, there were a major setback trying to make the shadow to collaborate with darker layers.
SOOOooo im working on that as we speak (that and 100 other things as always).

So far iv'e made all the color combinations and given it a name (Cotton Candy Melt)

Thing is, putting it on different layers of Light/Medium/Dark would take forever, cause all the colors would need individual layer paintings depending on the background color.

Earlier when i checked them all on a beautiful sunkissed skin, the colors were amazing vibrant like unicorn barf. And then i put it back on my regular pale skin, and it was sooo baad!!!
The vibrant green turned into something looking like week old lettuce.

Picture above isn't taken on a uploaded product its on the test product, i always take pictures as i'm working on it.

So bare with me beautiful boys n girls!

Ooh and i'm going thru my old hard drive looking for all of my old templates, cause i don't have any of my templates from 2013 back (or i have them but don't know where).

This is what i used to make all my make-up on, its INSANE!! 

I get chills down my spine just looking at it *ugh*.

Now days i use different full perm skins and lovely Eloh Eliots skins (bless her for being such an angel).
